This special issue celebrates the 20 years of combined existence of the International Journal of Multicultural Education and its predecessor journal, Electronic Magazine of Multicultural Education. The theme of the special issue is "Multicultural Education: Using Our Past to Build Our Future." It is co-edited by Drs. Christine Sleeter from California State University Monterey Bay (USA), Soon-Yong Pak from Yonsei University (South Korea), and Heewon Chang from Eastern University (USA).
