Vol 19, No 1 (2017): Special Issue-Critical Autoethnography in Pursuit of Educational Equity

The 2017 special issue of IJME focuses on the theme of “Critical Autoethnography in Pursuit of Educational Equity.” Co-edited by Drs. Sherry Marx from Utah State University, Julie Pennington from University of Nevada, and Heewon Chang from Eastern University, the issue presents an introductory essay followed by nine solo or collaborative autoethnographies from global contexts.

Vol 18, No 1 (2016): Special Issue: Critical Multicultural Citizenship Education

The theme of this special issue is "Critical Multicultural Citizenship Education: Student Engagement toward Building an Equitable Society." The issue was co-edited by three guest editors: Dr. Pablo C. Ramirez from Arizona State University, Dr. Cinthia Salinas from University of Texas, Austin, and Dr. Terrie Epstein from Hunter College in the United States.

Vol 17, No 1 (2015): Educational Leadership Against Racism: Challenging Policy, Pedagogy, and Practice

This is the special issue of the International Journal of Multicultural Education for 2015. The issue is guest-edited by Dr. Jeffrey Brooks from Monash University in Australia, Dr. Christopher B. Knaus from the University of Washington-Tacoma in the U.S.A., and Dr. Heewon Chang from Eastern University in the U.S.A. The issue contains one introductory essay by the guest editors and 11 peer-reviewed articles from 20 authors from Australia, Israel, New Zealand, and the United States.
